Ornatistas
Kent Bloomer is a maker of ornament. A master craftsperson, sculptor, and cosmic creator of the edge condition, we honor Kent’s legacy of craftsmanship and work to preserve and innovate on the tools that he shared with his apprentices and collaborators at Bloomer Studio and Yale University.
Teachers
Kent Bloomer’s lectures, courses, and epic conversations influenced three generations of architects, artists, and designers. We are here to organize and share archives of his legacy and build on his teachings by creating curriculums to share his culture of inquiry.
Community
Kent Bloomer cultivated a community of wonderment. Awakening the intellectual curiosity and cosmic attunement of his students, colleagues, friends, and collaborators, Kent’s visionary insights and work effloresced a community of like-minded thinkers and makers. We seek to keep this community strong by stewarding connections, sharing insights, and offering opportunities for continued collaboration.
